Gentle Yoga for a
Healthy Pregnancy

Stay fit and healthy with a yoga workout that is safe* for you and your baby. This workout is appropriate for all three trimesters and can be customized to suit your changing body. It is well instructed and appropriate for beginners as well as those who need to modify their practice during pregnancy.

The complete workout is 50 minutes. You can also select from the Menu:

  • Warm up- (14 min.) Breathing to relax and connect to your body and baby. Gentle poses to promote spinal flexiblity, and open the shoulders and hips. The warm up poses are safe for all stages of pregnancy
  • Flow- (15 min.) The flow sequence links poses with the breath.
    Moving thru the poses increases spinal flexibility and circulation while providing stability.
  • Strengthening- ( 10 min) Standing poses to build strength and stamina. They improve balance and increase energy
  • Relaxation- (10 min) Resting poses including stretching and breathing help to reduce stress.

The practice follows the guidelines set by the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
